Sometimes life just feels a little too much and you need someone who can listen compassionately within a comfortable and safe environment. Somewhere you can ask questions to gain some understanding of how your body is responding to the stresses and strains you feel under. Or someone who can offer small tips on managing your tricky brain. Psychological Wellbeing within Compassion can share this with you.

Holistic Assessment
As part of the assessment process you will be provided with an understanding of our therapeutic approaches and nature of our 'tricky brain'.
Assessments involve collaborative working where you will be encouraged to ask questions as well as share your thoughts, feelings, beliefs and actions. You may be asked to complete questionnaires such as those to assess your emotions, physical health and early life experiences.

Working towards....
You will be supported to create your own personal wellbeing development plan. This will involve identifying your unique goals and sub goals. Developing your 'working towards...' you will be provided with self assessments, mental and physical exercises. You will be facilitated in developing and putting your plan into action with extensive psycho-education, a safe, secure and nurturing environment.

Being with......
For some people to spend time in a nurturing and compassionate environment is sufficient to facilitate their sense of wellbeing. If this is you you may not wish to undertake a detailed development plan and that is fine. Whatever your needs I will endeavour to ensure you experience an environment where you feel comfortable sharing your emotions, shame, doubt or fears. A place where you can be yourself, relax and unwind.

Follow up
Regardless of whether you have undertaken the whole 'Working towards...' or a few sessions of 'Being with...' after a little break you may feel yourself needing a top-up or reminding of some of the learning you have undertaken. If so you can book in for a short revision session or some therapeutic space to regain your sense of wellbeing. The content of follow up sessions are dictated by you. All follow up session still involve 'Being with...'
